With Disney On Ice coming to Singapore in less than two weeks, nostalgia is hitting hard. I remember watching the Disney Channel for hours on end as a kid while munching on some biscuits on the couch. If you’re also missing your childhood, here’s some good news — Disney Store is releasing new food-themed merch collections this year, so you can satisfy your inner child and foodie lifestyle.
Overall, there are three main series that you should keep a lookout for: Disney Eats, Stitch Attacks Snacks, and Disney Munchlings.
Every month, the Disney Eats Collection will release new merchandise, ranging from home goods, to apparel and even pet accessories.
To combine your love for junk food and Disney, the collection features a Short Sleep Set For Women and Wearable Throw Blanket with Hood. These pieces of apparel are decorated with images of different fast foods — like ice cream, pizza, pretzels, and burgers. Light and airy, the short sleep set would be perfect for lounging during the day. In contrast, the throw blanket, which is made out of fleece, will keep you warm at night.
The Disney Eats Short Sleep Set For Women and Wearable Throw Blanket retail at $79.90 and $55.90 respectively.
To make your lounging experience even better, Disney Eats also has a Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Sandwich Scented Pillow. Unlike normal ice cream, this one never melts, so you can “enjoy” it forever.
The Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Sandwich Scented Pillow retails at $69.90.
On the topic of Mickey Mouse merchandise, the Disney Eats Collection also features a Mickey Mouse Popcorn Planter and Mickey Mouse Caramel Apple Tumbler with Straw. With the iconic Mickey motif and pops of bright red, these items can spruce any living space.
The Mickey Mouse Popcorn Planter retails at $65.90 while the Mickey Mouse Caramel Apple Tumbler with Straw retails at $47.90.
For your furry friends, Disney Eats also has a pet bed and toys. Modelled after the popular Mickey Mouse Caramel Apple treat at Disney Parks, the pet bed is decorated with plush ears and a stick. The Mickey Mouse Caramel Apple Pet Bed retails at $95.90.
The Disney Eats Pet Toy Set comes with four different toys: a turkey leg plush squeaky toy, Mickey Mouse hamburger plush squeaky toy, Mickey Mouse soft drink squeaky toy, and hot dog rope toy. With so many different designs for $39.90, this toy set can keep your pets entertained for a while.
Each month, a new Stitch plush and pin set will be released, featuring Stitch with different snacks. Each pin set consists of a snack pin, Stitch pin, and Angel pin.
Last month, we welcomed the new year with Stitch and some Mickey Mouse Pretzels. Dressed in a red button down, and grinning widely with a pretzel, January’s Stitch Attacks Snack Plush will add a dose of cuteness to any room.
This month’s featured snack is popcorn. Playfully winking and with popcorn all over his head, February’s Stitch Attacks Snacks Plush is both silly and sweet. Just one look at it is sure to perk you up for the rest of the day.
In the coming months, we can look forward to Stitch with snacks like macarons, lollipops and churros.
The Stitch Attacks Snacks Plush and Limited Release Pin Set both retail at $55.90.
The Disney Munchlings collection transforms your favourite characters into plush treats that you just can’t help but want to bite into. Cue cute aggression.
Considering that the PopMart craze was at an all time high last year, I’m sure we’re all familiar with the concept of blind boxes — not knowing what’s inside and opening them in hopes of getting the character you want.
Well, the Munchlings collection also has its own blind boxes. From each Sensational Snacks blind box, you can receive Poutine Panda Mei, Yogurt Dipped Pretzel Jack Skellington, Ramen Pluto, Jalapeno Popper Pascal, Onion Ring Mickey Mouse, Wasabi Pea Alien, or a mystery plush.
Each Disney Munchlings Mystery Plush, Sensational Snacks retails at $17.90.
Using cute dinnerware just automatically makes my day. If you’re like me, then check out these Munchlings-themed ones.
The Munchlings sushi plate reveals cute motifs of the Toy Story alien getting picked up by chopsticks after you finish your food. Paired with a pair of matching chopsticks, this tableware set will make your dining experience out of this world.
The bento box and bowl set can be stacked to form a cohesive image of Mei’s panda and Pluto respectively. The Pluto ramen bowl set comes with two bowls whereas the Mei Panda bento box has three tiers.
The Toy Story Alien Disney Munchlings Sushi Plate With Chopsticks retails at $35.90 while the Pluto Ramen Disney Munchlings Bowl Set and Mei Panda Disney Munchlings Bento Box retail at $47.90 and $32.90 respectively.
With so many items to choose from in these collections, it’s difficult to choose just one. Not to mention, Disney Store will be releasing even more food-themed merch throughout the year.
Even if you’re not a big Disney fan, you can’t deny how cute these new food-themed merch collections are. Head over to Disney Store’s official website to shop the collections and find out more.
