Frozen Musical Blue Carpet Looks
It’s hard to believe that the Disney film “Frozen” came out 10 years ago — “Let It Go” is still fresh in our minds till today. Now, Frozen fans can catch the sisters Anna and Elsa IRL at Marina Bay Sands Theatre, showcasing the film brought to life through a musical performance.
Apart from the gorgeous set and familiar songs that we love, we also manage to spot extra cool looks by Singapore personalities during the gala premiere. Check out these 10 outfits that shone on the blue carpet, from gowns to makeup looks and unique accessories.

1. Joanne Peh and Qi Yuwu
On Joanne Peh: Decked in her best black outfit, Joanne Peh shared with us that she drew inspiration from “playing a role as a bodyguard” in an upcoming drama she’s working on.
On Qi Yuwu: Since the pandemic restrictions eased, Qi Yuwu travelled to Japan with his family and bought his whole outfit there. This stylish look is both casual and comfy, perfect for a formal affair, before hitting the bar or restaurant after.
2. Patricia Mok and Darius Tan
On Patricia Mok: As a true Disney fan, Patricia Mok showed up in a unique Mickey Mouse denim jacket. The highlight of her whole look is the limited edition G-Dragon x Nike Air Force 1 Paranoise sneakers, which she bought because he’s her “favourite K-pop idol.”
On Darius Tan: Unlike the glitz and glam of many, Darius hilariously shared that everything he was wearing was simply “from his closet.” To him, wearing expensive clothes doesn’t necessarily mean you’re dressing better, a statement that doubled as a playful jab to Patricia who was next to him.
3. Jian Yang
On Jian Yang: Despite Jian Yang’s bespoke $6,000 suit, the toy collector felt the most proud of his $30 LED bowtie that he bought on Amazon. He revealed a hidden battery pack stowed away in his pocket, which came with a switch to light up his bowtie in dazzling blue lights.
As someone with over 12,000 Barbie dolls in his collection, Jian Yang also brought his lovely Elsa and Anna dolls with him to the show, as shared on his Instagram page.
4. Preeti Nair
On Preeti Nair: Her affordable $20 Fashion Nova dress is classic and snug, but Preeti pointed out that “the makeup is where it’s at” for her look. Blue eyeshadow with matching blue eyeliner? Watch out Elsa — Preeti is coming for your brand.
5. Ian Jeevan and Asher Darshan
On Ian Jeevan: It’s not everyday that we get to see TikTok’s “teacher” Ian Jeevan in a dashing grey suit. This look was completed with a ASOS blue patterned tie to match the Frozen theme.
On Asher Darshan: Many showed up in outfits inspired by Anna and Elsa, but Asher shared that he was inspired by the trolls instead. Decked in dark brown and grey hues, he revealed that this suit was originally owned by his dad, so he could rock an oversized fit for the show.

6. Anna Stacia and Farrah Shamrock
On Anna Stacia: Giving runway model vibes, Anna Stacia rocked the blue carpet with her Fashion Nova jumpsuit and accessories from Swarovski. When asked about the cost, she hilariously shared that she simply “chooses not to know.”
On Farrah Shamrock: Farrah Shamrock’s beautiful glittery gown was from Platinum Mall in Bangkok at an affordable price of $100. Her Frozen-themed eyeshadow look was made possible by Jeffree Star Cosmetics, and she highly recommends all their palettes.
7. Hossan Leong and Siti Kahlijah
On Hossan Leong: Hossan Leong purchased this shimmery silver vest when he was in Sydney, making sure to also buy one of every colour while he was there. He paired the vest with pants that were fully covered in sequins — I guess it’s safe to say that he looked just as radiant as a disco ball that night.
On Siti Kahlijah: Matching Hossan Leong’s energy is Siti Kahlijah’s equally shimmery dark blue dress, purchased from a vintage store in London at only £20 (~SGD$32.10). Her clutch bag was purchased from Primark, in London as well, which she declared is “the best shop in the world.”
8. Brie Benfell and Ming Bridges
On Brie Benfell: Supporting her BFF Ming Bridges, Brie Benfell was decked in a gorgeous designer gown rented from Ming’s brand, Rentadella. Her Christian Louboutin heels cost her a couple thousand dollars, repurposed from her wedding night.
On Ming Bridges: Sporting a gown from her own brand Rentadella, Ming Bridges completed her look with vintage earrings and a matching $70 clutch purse from Dior.
9. Nicole Liel
On Nicole Liel: With a chic black dress and mesh gloves rented from Style Lease, Nicole Liel couldn’t help but enthusiastically share how amazing and affordable renting is as compared to buying a new dress just for an event.
The pearl necklace and bracelet she bought from Hanoi brought the full classy look together, alongside chunky black sandals from Charles and Keith.
10. Fauzi Azzhar and Mark Kinoshita
On Fauzi Azzhar: Everything from Fauzi Azzhar’s outfit is from Zara, including his sparkly shoulder bag. He also wore a radiant blue eyeshadow and glitter lipstick inspired by Elsa. Just like the ice queen herself, he has his Olaf Funko POP as his companion for the show.
On Mark Kinoshita: While Fauzi’s makeup look was inspired by Elsa, Mark’s purple eyeshadow draws inspiration from Anna. He also showed off a set of glamorous press-on nails from Sephora, perfectly matching his sleek patterned suit.
