Colour analysis sessions have become increasingly popular in the past few years, as people turn to the service to find out the shades that best enhance their appearance. If you’re considering getting one the next time you go to Korea, press pause on that plan, because you can get it done affordably on home turf instead. House of Hues offers colour analysis in Singapore for $45, whereas other studios might set you back over $100.
House of Hues is located along Lorong Kilat, near Beauty World MRT Station. Exact locations are revealed to customers after a booking is made. You reserve a colour analysis session via their booking form, and slots are regularly released via their Telegram channel.
A deposit of $20 is required for every booking, and the remaining $25 is collected after the session is completed.
Apart from its price point, sets the studio apart from other colour analysis services in Singapore is the fact that Singapore Polytechnic students run it. What began as a final-year project eventually became a service available to the public.
Just because students run House of Hues does not mean they aren’t legit. Naturally, the experience isn’t as polished as what you’d get at a studio in Seoul, but you are given detailed explanations on your tone, your personal season, and what colours suit you best. You’re also sat in front of a mirror as the session is conducted so you can see the difference for yourself.
They’ve also conducted sessions for the public as part of Uniqlo’s recent 40th anniversary and for Metro Paragon.
BTW, if $45 still sounds like a lot to you for a colour analysis session, then head down to the upcoming SCWO Night Bazaar, where House of Hues will be offering their services for just $25! Swing by from 23 August to 25 August, between 4pm to 9pm, to get your analysis done.
The bazaar will be located at 96 Waterloo Street, SCWO Centre, Singapore 187967.
Colour analysis sessions have become a way for individuals to discover their style and enhance their confidence. If you’ve always wanted to find out whether you’re warm-toned or cool-toned, and what colours match you the best, then head down to House of Hues to book yourself a session.
