We Singaporeans love Korea ― from K-dramas to food, it’s hard not to miss the land of the morning calm. Luckily for us, local e-commerce platform, Ksisters, is bringing us the Korean summer vibes with the new Jung Beauty Hello Summer Pop-Up store. For the unacquainted, Ksisters previously treated us to a whimsical Jeju pop-up last year to channel our inner island girl.
From now until 3 May 2023, you can take a deep dive into their vibrant beach-like space featuring K-beauty launches, exciting activities and even a complimentary skin analysis.
Situated in a quaint space of Market Blue at Tanglin Mall, visitors can enjoy this bright IG-worthy interior upon entering. Taking inspiration from the sunny beaches of Busan, this space will definitely put you in a cheerful mood. While browsing through their racks of various K-beauty products, you can also snap some cute pics for the ‘gram.
Despite the tiny space, the vibrant illustrations by Lydia Yang of Oak and Bindi really stands out. The cute graphics take inspiration from Busan’s famous attraction spots such as Gamcheon Culture Village and Haeundae Beach.
You will be spoilt for choice as their latest lineup of K-beauty products will offer everything you need to prepare yourself for the summer heat. A great example is the Jung Beauty Probiotics Tinted Sun Serum which is a three-in-one hybrid serum that protects your skin from the sun rays. Plus, you can enjoy a discount up to 10% off on selected brands.
Like everyone else, I am a sucker for free things and I can’t say no to a complimentary skin analysis. Their kiosk also has a skin AI machine from Korea which measures your pore size, moisture level and more ― so you can learn more about your skin’s needs. However, slots are on a first come first serve basis and limited daily so do arrive early to snag one.
Or if you are feeling extra lucky, you can try this gachapon machine to win prizes that are worth up to $35. All customers are entitled to one chance with every $60 spent and a maximum of five chances up to $300 spent per receipt.
Don’t leave without getting some souvenirs to commemorate your special day with their Life4cut photobooth, which will provide adorable strips of photos with your BFF or bae.
Alternatively, you can opt for a Korean-Style Caricature drawing of yourself. The booth will be there from now until 23 April 2023 only, so do drop by during the weekend before it’s gone.
Since summer is coming up, it’s important to stock up on skincare to protect ourselves from the harsh UV rays.
