As someone who tends to snack a lot, I can personally say that chips are one of my all-time favourites. It seems that Balenciaga shares a similar sentiment, as they have just collaborated with potato chip brand Lay’s to create a potato chip clutch bag, so you can quell your hunger for eccentric fashion.

The new Lay’s x Balenciaga potato chip clutch bags look like they just came straight off the shelves of NTUC. Designed by Balenciaga’s creative director Demna Gvasalia, the clutch bags come in different colours such as green, yellow, red and blue, with one thing in common – they’re all Balenciaga–flavoured.

While they may look like they’re made of crumpled plastic at first glance, they’re actually made of leather. The usual flavour labelling has been replaced with “Balenciaga”, and they resemble the actual Lay’s chip bags we fondly munch out of.There is also a metal silver lining along the clutch bag, and has a zip-top to ensure security.

With these bags, there’s all the more reason for your friends or bae to call you a snacc. They come with a hefty price tag however –  they’re supposedly rumoured to retail at USD$1,800 (~S$2,580.34).
