Crocs have come a long way from just the plain classic clogs. With collabs ranging from Hello Kitty to McDonald’s, the footwear brand has consistently been treating fans to new and exciting designs to zhng up our style.
Now, anime fans are in for a new treat — Crocs has just announced a new Naruto Shippuden collection, with two pairs inspired by the well-loved characters, Naruto and Kakashi.
When it comes to Naruto, there’s no doubt that orange is his colour. The protagonist has owned his signature orange outfit from when we were first introduced to him as a child, all the way to his adulthood in Naruto Shippuden.
Channel Naruto’s main character energy by adding the unique Jibbitz from this collection. Fans will recognise motifs unique to Naruto such as his iconic Shadow Clone Jutsu, the Nine-Tailed Fox, and Naruto’s favourite dish, ramen.
Unlike the typical rubber straps on the back of Crocs’ clogs, go into ninja mode instead of sports mode with the padded heel strap.
The Kakashi-inspired clogs come in olive green hues that resemble the vest he dons in the anime. This pair includes Jibbitz from the erotic novel that he always carries around with him, the fox Anbu mask, as well as shuriken stars and kunai knives.
The Kakashi clogs also come with a detachable pouch on the padded heel straps. It’s perfect for keeping your additional ninja tools and loose change.
Both pairs come with a metallic head plate of the Hidden Village of the Leaf, so you can blend in with the Konoha villagers and join Naruto and Kakashi on their next mission.
While it’s been over two decades since the very first Naruto episode aired, the anime still remains well-loved by fans all over the world, along with its sequel, Boruto. Hopefully, we’ll be able to see a new Crocs collection starring Naruto’s children, Boruto and Himawari, in the future. Believe it.
As of now, there is no set release date for the Naruto x Crocs collection. Stay tuned to Crocs’ website for more information.
