A nod to Japan’s flag, the shoe is decked out mostly in white, contrasted by a rich red shade. The red hue can be found on the bottom half of the lace base, on the back of the shoe tongue, and the front and back of the outsole.

The classic Nike swoosh is covered in a luxe gold, inspired by the Olympics’ top medal. The Air Max patches on the side and heel of the shoe are also adorned in gold. As a final touch, Nike swapped out the branding on the shoe tongue with an apt 2020 graphic.
