While we’re anticipating the release of the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games, Japanese clothing brand Graniph takes us back to where it all first began — Pokémon cards. In a collaboration with Pokémon cards, they’ve released a collection of graphic tees and bucket hats so you can be the very best hypebae trainer.
While most Pokémon collections tend to feature Pikachu, seeing as it is Pokémon’s main mascot, this collection focuses more on Pichu instead. FYI, for those who aren’t sure what’s the difference between the two, Pichu is the evolution that comes before Pikachu.
Designed like Pokémon cards, the Mischievous Pichu tees come in a white or black base. In contrast, a colourful design of Pichu cheekily causing havoc in the lab takes the front.
The Mischievous Pichu card tees are retailing at ¥2,200 (~SGD$23.80) each.
To spur on your childhood nostalgia, this next tee features colourful polkadot symbols of the Pokémon types such as water, fire and grass.
The two pockets on the bottom flip open to reveal a hidden Pichu card sewed inside. Next time you’re having a Pokémon card battle with your friends, you can literally win with the cards up your sleeves.
The type pattern tee retails at ¥3,500 (~SGD$37.85).
Go for a minimalist look with this light grey tee decked in Pichu’s silhouette and more Pokémon playing cards. With the words “Pokémon card game” printed on the front, this tee retails at ¥3,500 (~SGD$37.85).
You can also opt for this collared tee as a unique piece of outerwear, showcasing Pichu adding a splash of colour on the front. The collared tee is retailing at ¥6,600 (~SGD$71.37).
Enhance your streetwear style with this reversible bucket hat. Each side reveals a different design of a plain navy blue Pichu logo or colourful polkadot symbols. The bucket hat is retailing at ¥3,850 (~SGD$41.63).
Earlier this month, Converse released their second collection of Pokémon high-cut sneakers. While waiting for the collection to reach our stores in Singapore, Graniph also offers high-cut sneakers with Pokémon type symbols.
Pichu is back to cause more trouble along the sides of these. The sneakers are retailing at ¥11,000 (~SGD$118.95).
Complete your full trainer look with the canvas tote bag, perfect for carrying your laptop and personal belongings while on-the-go. Available in the Pichu Pokémon card design, the tote bag is retailing at ¥3,500 (~SGD$37.85).
Give your kitchenware an electrifyingly-fun makeover with these Pichu mugs, available in white or black. These are retailing at ¥2,500 (~SGD$27.04) each.
Since we’re able to switch up our character outfits in the Pokémon games, it only makes sense to rep a full Pokémon fit IRL too. The full Pokémon card x Graniph collection is available for purchase on Graniph’s online website which ships directly to Singapore.
