Preeti Nair, better known for her moniker Preetipls, is the self-avowed “satirical Internet queen” who’s gained much respect for her wit and zero effs attitude.

This year, she’s catapulted her parodies to new heights, collaborating with local musician THELIONCITYBOY on her latest rap music video. Before 2018 draws to a close, she’s dropping a new original track which will feature her brother Subhas, the man behind all her lyrical material.

What’s your daily morning routine like?

If it actually happens in the morning, that’s a miracle. Okay jokes aside. If I’m not headed out for the shoot it’s pretty straightforward — cleanser, toner, serum and a moisturiser.

Which acne treatment do you reach for when you get sudden breakouts?

The Body Shop’s Tea Tree range, for sure. I mean, “What’s my routine? It’s that TEA TREE.”

Which luxury beauty products are you willing to splurge on?

I’ve recently hopped on the Hourglass bandwagon, and I’m loving their foundation stick and setting powder. Skincare-wise, I’d splurge on Lancôme’s Advanced Génifique Serum.

If you could only take 3 beauty products with you to a desert island, which would they be?

Funny you ask this, because I was in a secluded town in Sabah for a shoot last week—in the FOREST. I snuck eyeliner, concealer, and lipstick in my backpack. The production team is gonna be so disappointed to hear this.

Which is the most underrated beauty product you’ve discovered?

8 HOURS OF SLEEP. But product-wise, I think a good brow pencil is something I used to do without (and relied on my brown person genes for natural, full brows), until I realised how it could shape my face and complete the entire look.

Yes, Tinder. HAHAHA, okay sorry. No surprises here, but I hit the Netflix app when I have time to spare. I just started watching Dynasty and wow… rich people are mad.

Who are the women you look up to in your personal and professional life?

I love Pooja Nansi, Sharul Channa, and also Hannah Montana for keeping that double life secret up till episode 94.
