Each year, Crocs comes up with some of the most unique concepts and creative collaborations. Just recently, they released Spongebob Squarepants-inspired clogs as well as Hello Kitty-inspired platform heels.
This month, Crocs is upping the ante with a collaboration with Pringles, releasing new Pringle-themed high-top boots, slides, as well as clogs.
The Pringles x Crocs Classic Crush Boots come with two chip holsters — one on each shoe. With them, you’ll be able to carry two small cans of chips wherever you go. For a pop of colour, you can fold down the top of the boots to reveal its red interior.
What’s more, Pringles is launching a new chip flavour just for this collection. Named Pringles Croc-Tail Party, the new flavour is both sweet and spicy, with hints of watermelon, chilli, and lime. Unfortunately, it’ll only be available in the United States for now.
In case you’re doubting the functionality of the boots, social media influencer Chris Olsen filmed an Instagram reel testing them out. Unless you’ll be doing cartwheels in them, it’s pretty safe to say that the boots will be able to hold your chips securely.
The collection also features a new edition of Crocs’ Classic Clogs. Take your pick from four different colours which represent iconic chip flavours. FYI, red, orange, green and blue represent Original, Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream & Onion, and Salt & Vinegar respectively.
If you prefer letting your toes get some air, the Pringles x Crocs collection also includes a pair of Pringles-inspired slides. Decorated with black and white motifs of Mr. P — Pringles’ mascot — as well as his stylish moustache, the slides will add a retro vibe to your outfit.
Of course, Jibbitz charms are a must in every Crocs collection. For the Pringles x Crocs collection, you can look forward to five new Pringles-themed Jibbitz charms. There’s even one of Mr. P winking.
The Pringles x Crocs collection is set to launch on 17 April, at 12am. If you’re interested, make sure to set your alarms as this collection is limited-edition. As the saying goes, “you snooze, you lose.”
