Sanrio & Dr. Martens Are Back With A New Collection So You Can Up Your Instagram OOTD Game

After joining hands in 2020 to release a kawaii collection of Hello Kitty x Dr. Martens shoes and accessories, Sanrio and Dr Martens have reunited to launch a new line-up called Hello Kitty and Friends. Hello Kitty, Keroppi, My Melody, Badtz-Maru and more characters show up on 3 pairs of shoes: 1460 boots, Jadon platform boots and the 1461 shoes.

1460 boot

It’s not a Dr. Martens collaboration without its OG 1460 boots. The leather 8-eye boots are embellished with a graphic of Hello Kitty and her friends, as well as her signature bow. The multi-coloured stitching on the side adds a pop of colour to the black boots.

The boots are further adorned with bright red shoelaces in the same shade as Hello Kitty’s bow. For those who want to go for a more neutral look, the boots also come with additional white shoelaces. 

As a bonus, the collection includes a kids’ version of these boots, so you can be twinsies with your little one.

Jadon platform boot

The Jadon platform boots have a similar design to the 1460 boots, except with a platform sole.

 

The characters have also been split up, such that they are dotted across both sides, as well as in a row lining the back of the boots.

Low-top 1461

If combat boots are not your cup of tea, opt for the low-top 1461 silhouette. Unlike the boots, the 1461 shoe comes with neon outlines of the beloved Sanrio characters as a repeated pattern, so you can elevate your #OOTD. 

As with the other 2 boots, these 3-eye shoes come with striking red ribbon laces.
