Previously, Superga teamed up with Tiong Bahru Bakery for a lineup of croissant-inspired footwear. This time round, the sneaker brand is proving to be the very best, like no one ever was, by treating trainers to a new Pokémon collection. Featuring well-loved Pokémon from the Kanto region, this collection will allow you to catch ‘em all in comfort and style.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a Pokémon master or a budding trainer from Pallet Town – the original 150 Pokémon will always be our faves. The collection stars familiar Pokémon such as Charmander and Pikachu.
The phrase “trainer” is designed on the heel tabs, perfect for letting other trainers know that you’re ready to battle.
Every adventure starts with a set of Poké Balls to begin your journey of completing the Pokédex. The Poké Ball sneakers feature a polkadot-like design of the red and white balls contrasting against a full-black base.
Channel your inner Ash Ketchum and take Pikachu with you on every adventure with these Pikachu sneakers. A design of four Pikachus cheering you on is etched near the heel tabs, sprucing up the white footwear.
If lace sneakers are too much of a hassle, kick it back old school with these velcro sneakers instead. Available in grey, the sneaker features the Generation 1 starters alongside Togepi, Bulbasaur, Meowth, Eevee and Jigglypuff.
Add a personalised touch to your new kicks with the Poké Ball charms, available in the Friend Ball, Level Ball, Fast Ball and Lure Ball designs. These were only available from Generation 2 onwards, serving as essentials for trainers to get closer to their Pokémon.
Each sneaker also comes with the Superga and Pokémon logo designed on the insoles. They are available at $119.90 each.
No Pokémon trainer’s journey begins too early. Matching sneakers are also available for the little ones at $89.90 each.
All of the Superga x Pokémon sneakers come in this exclusive bright red box inspired by the iconic Pokédex.
The Superga x Pokémon collection will launch on 10 March 2023, 11am onwards, on Superga’s website and in-stores islandwide. Eager trainers can register your email on Superga’s mailing page to ensure that you don’t miss out on getting these sneakers when it drops.
