Whether you are invested in sustainable fashion or not, there’s no denying that thrifting has gone mainstream. Aside from shopping secondhand at many thrift stores in Singapore, people are turning to clothes swaps on Carousell to expand their wardrobes affordably, without turning to fast fashion. If you’re big on thrifting and have always been interested to try out swaps but you’re wary of not being able to try the clothes out for size, then good news: Swapaholic Capitol Singapore is your answer.
The boutique lets you shop for sustainable fashion in myriad ways, from swapping to thrifting, even shopping from sustainable labels.
Swapaholic has been around since 2017, and built its reputation as an online thrift store and swapping marketplace.
Typically, you pay for items you want to swap in, according to the prices below. You can do so online, or at their Capitol boutique.
Your accepted items and payment will then turn into points that you can use to swap for other items in the store, or online. Points have validity for up to six months.
There are also fitting rooms where you can try clothes, accessories, and shoes out before you commit to a swap.
