1. Klimt: Timeless Beauty Exhibition
Channel your inner artist by checking out the Klimt: Timeless Beauty Exhibition. The interactive exhibition is here in Singapore for the first time and will follow the life of Austrian painter Gustav Klimt, who is most known for using the female body as his main subject. The exhibition will also dive into his inspiration and the struggles he faced while creating his iconic pieces. You can expect to see his most notable works, such as “Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I” and “The Kiss” projected on the walls, making them look larger than life. While you roam around, there will be a specially curated soundtrack playing that is highly reminiscent of 20th-century Vienna. This IG-worthy exhibition is definitely one to visit.
Do take note that due to the nature of Klimt’s artwork, there will be some nudity involved, so viewer discretion is advised.

2. Behind the Canvas Series One: Jean-Michel Basquiat
Jean-Michel Basquiat rose to fame in the 1980s, becoming one of the youngest artists to have his work displayed in a museum. He’s best recognised for his painting “Untitled”, which sold for $110.5M posthumously, making it one of the most expensive paintings ever sold.
Behind the Canvas: Series One is a Basquiat-themed exhibition that will be making its global debut in Singapore. The interactive exhibition will go in-depth about the life and work of this well-loved artist, allowing those who enjoy his work to have a rare opportunity to understand who he was as a person. If you’re an aspiring artist, this exhibition is bound to inspire you.

3. Jimami Tofu outdoor movie screening

Watching a movie under the stars is a must-do at least once. Thanks to Cinewav, you can achieve that dream. On 15 February, there will be a free screening of the short film Jimami Tofu at Botanic Gardens, written and directed by Cinewav cofounders Jason Chan and Christian Lee. The film follows the love story between a Singaporean chef and a Japanese food critic while weaving in old Okinawan Ryukyu Dynastic cuisine.
If you are a bit sceptical about sitting on the ground, don’t worry because there are 300 deluxe lawn chairs to sit in so you’re comfortable throughout the film. As for refreshments, Cinewav has specially imported 300 portions of Jimami tofu, also known as peanut tofu, straight from Okinawa for attendees to munch on while watching the film. You can also purchase an ice-cold can of Okinawa Beer for $8 to wash it all down. 4. Cloud 9 music festival
Itching to go to a concert but don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars? Head down to the Cloud 9 music festival on 15 February! Tickets for this music festival cost $28, which is such a steal to see both local and international artists like elijah woods, shazza, and DOLLA perform. Mediacorp, the festival hosts, promise that Cloud 9 is more than just an ordinary music festival. 5. Huayi—Chinese Festival of Arts

8. Premiere of the Sunset Boulevard musical

9. Sonic X Shadow Generations Capsule
