Chinese Porcelain-Inspired PC
After the Aftershock bubble tea PC that went viral earlier this year, it seems like anything is possible. And for something that will appeal to not just Gen Z gamers, but their grandparents as well, there is now a customised Chinese porcelain-inspired PC from CORSAIR.
Featuring details like tea cups and a kettle, many Asians would find the design familiar as the setup brings to mind China sets that are commonly found in traditional homes. Continue reading on to find out more about this intriguing PC.
The design
Instead of calling it “the white and blue porcelain pattern”, impress your gaming friends by letting them know that the traditional design is known as Qinghua ‒ China’s most famous and widespread porcelain.
Taking inspiration from the colour palette of Qinghua, it is no surprise to find the PC in stunning shades of white and blue.
At first glance, it is impossible to miss the intricate patterns as they are almost everywhere, on both the interior and exterior of the PC.
On the heatsink and GPU, you can find classic motifs of Qinghua like phoenixes, flowers and clouds.
As you make your way down where the PSU lies, you’ll even spot the motifs of mountains in light and dark blue shades ‒ reminding us of the fight scenes typically seen in wuxia films.
While the tea cups and kettle are only acting as decor pieces, they could come useful as actual drinkware when you indulge in a short tea sesh while you AFK from the game.
To complete the gaming setup, there are even keyboards and headphones which come with similar Qinghua patterns too.
