Dragon Ball Z Chair

Dragon Ball Z released its first episode way back in 1989, but their fandom remains as strong as ever, even till today. It’s not surprising, seeing as inspiring characters like Goku and Vegeta are role models to many, teaching us important values of teamwork and loyalty.

With old school anime such as Sailor Moon having released collabs with brands like Vans and Pomelo, Dragon Ball Z fans can now enjoy a comfy capsule pod inspired by Frieza’s hover pod.

The cushion chair is available for pre-order on Premium Bandai, a Japanese lifestyle brand. It’s 95cm wide and 70cm high, perfect for tucking your whole body into it after a long day of work.

The chair is designed as a full-sized recreation of the villain’s vehicle — a black spaceship with yellow stripes along the sides. Despite Frieza being Goku’s number one enemy, we can’t deny how cool his hover pod is, allowing him to comfortably fly around.

The cushion chair even comes with a special compartment to hold your phone, so you can binge watch your fave Dragon Ball Z episodes hands-free.

Feel free to lean back on the backrest while watching, as the plush material entirely surrounds the chair. It’s just the right size for nua-ing at home in the corner without having anybody to disturb your peace.

The chair includes a cushion on the bottom to ensure it’s comfortable no matter how you sit in it. Whether it’s with your legs sticking out or snoozing the food coma away, we can only hope that Frieza himself was as comfy while driving in his hover pod too.

You can also make use of the hover pod as a unique desk chair. Who knows, perhaps it may lighten the mood when your boss is nagging at you while working from home.

This Dragon Ball Z Chair Will Have You Go Super Saiyan For More Quirky Furniture

The Freiza-inspired hover pod chair is now available for pre-order on Premium Bandai’s website at ¥29,700 (~SGD$285.29), which unfortunately only ships within Japan. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that it’ll be available on Premium Bandai’s Singapore website in the future.

For Dragon Ball Z fans who will go super saiyan for quirky merch like this, it’s time to channel your inner villain and get the throne you deserve.
