LGBTQ-Friendly Bars In Singapore

Singapore might not be the most bustling with queer nightlife, but we do have LGBTQ-friendly bars in the country for the community. With Singapore’s nightlife blooming, we welcome our weekends of strong cocktails, and grinding to remixes of Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Cher and even K-pop to let ourselves loose.

For those new to the community and looking to socialise, below are 9 LGBTQ-friendly bars and clubs in Singapore for a great night out.

1. Tantric Bar

It is not surprising that Tantric Bar is one of the most well-known bars in the community. Located on the same Tanjong Pagar street where many other LGBTQ-friendly bars are, Tantric Bar is a safe space for the community to hang out and chill.

While the bar might be packed during the weekends, it also doubles as a drinking spot for friends and colleagues to catch up after work on the weekdays. Apart from cocktails and finger food, Tantric Bar also offers pizza like their Fiery Chicken Pizza for those who want to experience a spicy kick.

Address: 80 Neil Road, Singapore 088842

2. Backstage Bar

You can only expect to have a good time at Backstage Bar, as the bar is a pro at blending nightlife, culture, and also some kickass cocktails with cheeky names like Lady Marmalade. As one of the LGBTQ-friendly bars in Singapore, Backstage Bar is also frequented by drag queens, making your visit never a dull one.

If it is your first time visiting the bar, you’ll be impressed by their interior, which features musical posters, and cosy sofas that are suitable for casual convos with a new eye candy.
