Siam Dius In Singapore

When you’re young, dumb and craving some fun, there’s just something appealing about going out and partying all night long. Ending the night at the bar means it’s still young, and for those who have the extra stamina to hop around different clubs, there’s also the unique charm of siam dius.

For the uninitiated, siam dius are Thai disco nightclubs where you can get Thai disco girls, aka siam bus, to talk and drink with you by buying them flower garlands. This action of tipping with a flower garland is also known as diao hua.

These nightclubs offer a different kind of entertainment where guests get to sit back and enjoy performances put up on a stage. A glass of beer in one hand and a lollipop in another? You’re more than ready to start singing along to xi wang ni yi hou, bu hui hou hui mei xuan ze wo”.

1. Club Rich

Source, source

Described as “the most happening club recently” according to Google reviews, Club Rich is a new siam diu with fun events and guest DJs to get the party going. During their Valentine’s Day 2023 event, the club hilariously offered free drinks to ladies and free condoms for men. To make the night even more memorable, snap a picture with their iconic paper fan.

3. Wave

While siam dius are commonly known for being small and cosy, Wave exceeds expectations with its massive space that resembles a standard nightclub. One of their unique highlights also include live band performances — a fresh alternative to loud man yao or EDM. Earlier this year, Wave also posted on their Facebook page that they have Korean hostesses at their club.

6. W

NGL, at first glance, W’s reflective walls and strobe lights reminds me of a spin studio. The siam diu was recently renovated and reopened in 2022, with beer towers and Martell bottles available at promotional prices only on Sundays. According to a few friends, the area is a little smaller compared to other siam dius, but it doesn’t mean that the performances are any less lit.

Pixie is another long-standing siam diu that has been around for seven years now. Located at Basement 1 of Concorde Shopping Centre, the club is highly raved for their good music — expect live band performances and latest hits remixed by their house DJs. Of course, the experience is complete with their signature Thailand Coyote Dancers grooving along to the beat.

Pixie often has promotions on their beer towers and Martell bottles — check out their Facebook page for the full list of deals.

8. SpaceOne

Source, source

Despite being a relatively new club, SpaceOne is actually one of Singapore’s largest nightclubs with relatively high Google reviews. It’s modern and trendy to cater to both millennials and Gen Zs, with occasional giveaways and offers on their Instagram page.

Some might complain that siam dius have changed a lot to become more like normal clubs instead. But according to a friend, SpaceOne certainly isn’t lacking in any areas — especially their pretty siam bus, which are a signature must-have feature of any Thai disco club.

9. Las Vegas

Source

TBH, all the entertainment you need at a siam diu is laid out in front of you — talking, drinking and playing games with the siam bus. But if you’re up for some extra fun, Las Vegas’ VIP room includes comfy sofas and a pool table to challenge your friends. It’s an alternative activity for those who get bored of replaying the usual bar games.

Early birds can also enjoy their buy-1-get-1-free towers and buckets from 7pm to 9pm.

11. Black Horse

Siam DiuSource, source

Black Horse is more well known as a club than a siam diu lately, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds here. They’re not stingy when it comes to promotions and offers either, as on Wednesday nights, ladies get free entry into the club, while guys can come in for free before 11pm. Influencer Nicole Choo has previously made an appearance as a guest DJ too.

They are strict with their house rules and regulations though, requiring guests to cover up their tattoos and adhere to a standard dress code. Head over to their Instagram highlights to find the full list of rules.

These Siam Dius In Singapore Will Guarantee A Fun & Entertaining Night With Your Friends

With the negative stereotypes that are often associated with siam dius and siam bus, note that we should always prioritise safety and consent to enjoy a fun TGIF night. In most Thai disco clubs, filming of their hostesses is also not allowed, so be sure to check in with their house rules before entering.

At the end of the day, remember that siam bus are humans too, and a diao hua does not entitle you to physical intimacy with the ladies.
