Since the Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 sneakers were released earlier this year, many have been anticipating more exciting collabs between luxury and footwear brands. It seems like the wait is now over, as Gucci and Vans have just teamed up to release five footwear designs, each made with repurposed fabric.
It’s safe to say that all the sneakers from this collection are nothing short of unique. The UOG Old Skool features a pair of mismatched sneakers decked in floral and gingham checkered prints. Metal studs adorn the toe and heel, adding a rockstar punk look to your OOTD.
The OG Classic Slip-On is available in three colours: red and pink, black and white, and yellow checkered leather. The design is complete with a floral motif canvas on the back.
Like the other sneakers from the collection, they each also feature an array of studs and eyelets on the toe. If you’re on the hunt for unique couple accessories, this could be your sign.
These yellow Classic Slip-On sneakers will add a cheerful element to your look. Hopefully, the bright colours will also help to chase away the dreaded Monday Blues.
Taking ah-ma fashion to the next level, the Patchwork OG Mule comes in a floral patchwork canvas and comfy cotton lining. Fun fact: these are made with repurposed fabrics from the Gucci Pre-Fall 2017 collection, so you can put these on and strut along shopping malls as if it’s your personal runway.
A slay or a fashion disaster? We’ll let you be the judge of that. The Gucci x Vans collaboration is part of the new Gucci Vault range titled “Continuum”, and is only available in the US and UK for now. Stay tuned to Gucci Singapore’s website for more information on these sneakers reaching our shores too.
