Paul & Joe Beauté Pop-Up In Singapore

When we come across a beautifully designed makeup product, we can’t help but yield to temptation. At the moment, our hearts are collectively yearning for Paul & Joe Beauté’s Parisian-inspired cosmetics, available at its pop-up store in Isetan Scotts from now till the end of September 2019.

The sister to Paul & Joe’s clothing line, Paul & Joe Beauté was available in Singapore briefly before it departed. But now, the beauty label is back with its trove of makeup gems.

A go-to brand for Japanese customers who seek to create an effortless “no-makeup” makeup look, the line features primers, foundations, face powders, lipsticks, balms and blushers. Here’s what we’re eyeing.

What’s on our wishlist

Treatment Lipstick ($25 for the lipstick, $15 for the case)

Paul & Joe Beauté is known for its iconic Treatment Lipstick and Pearl Lipstick, balm-like lip products that reveal an adorable kitten-shaped bullet when twisted up. Jojoba and macadamia nut oils hydrate chapped lips, so you can wear them alone or on top of a lip colour to add shine.

Do note that the lipstick and its case are sold separately.

Not just for feline-obsessed millennials, Paul & Joe Beauté also has long-wear base makeup to enhance the skin’s natural glow. This lightweight primer delivers moisture with orange flower water and 3 types of hyaluronic acid, while protecting the skin with SPF 15 PA+.

The hydrating primer is also available in 3 shades: Dragee, a pink tint to brighten; Miel, a subtle orange hue to correct uneven skin tone, and Creme, a clear shade to boost luminosity.

Gel Foundation N ($55 for the foundation, $25 for the case)

To perfect your complexion, apply this compact foundation after the primer. 80% of the formula is comprised of water, so the fresh, gel-like texture glides on comfortably to hydrate the skin. It also contains theanine to prevent the foundation from getting tacky in our sweaty climate.

You’ll also find limited-edition products decorated in chrysanthemum motifs too, and they come packaged in whimsically designed compacts and cubes, so don’t miss your chance to take them home.

The Paul & Joe Beauté pop-up at Isetan Scotts is in good company, running alongside two other beauty brands that are popular in Japan: Albion and Les Merveilleuses Ladurée.
