This Tiffany Blue 4-Room Bidadari BTO Looks Straight Out Of The Set Of Mad Men

Tiffany Blue BTO

From a Hello Kitty BTO decked out in pastel pink to a Wes Anderson-style minimalist pink hdb flat, there’s no shortage of pink interior design inspiration in Singapore. But for everyone who has been patiently waiting for another colour to take its turn in the spotlight, now might finally be the time. True to its name, Singaporean interior design firm Idfferent Design recently shared pictures of a 4-room flat at Bidadari Park Drive. Sporting a simple yet more retro aesthetic right out of the set of Mad Men, this Tiffany Blue BTO could just spark inspiration for your own home.

Dining and living space

Once you step into the BTO, you’re greeted by soothing tones of white, dove grey and Tiffany Blue. Natural textures like rattan and wood on the walls, chairs and lamps balance out the cool hues, adding a resort vibe to the space.

Imagine coming home from work to this sight, or working from home on the long dining table. The dining table also bucks the popular trend of marble tabletops. Instead, a long curved white slab is supported by 2 massive marble blocks, making for a striking centrepiece.

The herringbone floor tiles tie everything together beautifully, echoing the colours, textures and prints of the entire space.

The kitchen is where the Tiffany Blue colour takes centrestage, with cabinets painted in the bluish-green colour. Again, curved edges as seen on the shelves impart a ’60s feel.

The green colour palette follows into the living room as well, with the wall painted in mint green.

Bedroom

Moving into the bedroom, you’ll find the walls painted in the same mint green as the living room. Similarly, the grey closet from the entrance reappears here as well.

No need to worry about the room looking too cold though. Prints and textures in complementary colours amp up the warmth factor, along with a gold globe pendant light and candles.

Bathroom

Last but not least, the bathroom also has a mint green feature wall, accompanied by rustic wooden cabinets and a white bathtub. It looks like it could be the bathroom of a boutique hotel in New York City, complete with toiletries from a bespoke beauty brand.

This Tiffany Blue BTO Is Suitable For Those Who Like A Simple Yet Quirky Look

This Tiffany Blue BTO proves you don’t need to commit to covering your house in one colour to make a statement. Instead, consider a few feature walls in your favourite colour or furniture in the same tone. Idfferent Design shared that the budget for the Tiffany Blue BTO was $41,000. If that falls within the price range for your own home renovation costs, you can visit its website to find out more.
