2. Visit a 3-in-1 bowling, arcade and darts club

3. Take a $15 pole dancing class for newbies

Physically, pole dancing strengthens your core muscles and improves body coordination. Mentally, the sport is known for helping to release endorphins and increase self-esteem levels. 

The Brass Barre at Orchard Gateway offers 3 different 1-hour trial classes for beginners: Polegraphy, which combines basic pole tricks and a short dance choreography; Chair, which comprises a chair dance routine and the possibility of role-playing; and Splits & Backends, which involves partner stretching and conditioning techniques.

4. Battle villains in a group-friendly VR game

Escape the humdrum realities of everyday life for 30 minutes by taking down aliens, zombies and other supernatural creatures with your girlfriends. Sandbox VR has 5 different game experiences spanning a range of genres, including sci-fi and horror. 

Amber Sky 2088, Star Trek: Discovery, Deadwood Mansion and Curse of Davy Jones can all be played by 2 to 6 guests, while UFL (Unbound Fighting League) combines physical sports and esports, where 4 to 6 guests will be split into teams to battle each other.

Although the VR experience itself lasts 30 minutes, there will be a 15-minute training session and to set up the equipment, so be sure to free up at least an hour on your schedule.

5. Attend a rock climbing class for first-timers

Take your mind off any residual work woes by registering for a rock-climbing session at Climb Central. As you concentrate on strategising how to scale the walls, you’ll find that all your troubles have been left behind. Competitive types can also challenge their friends to see who reaches the top first.

Since it’s located within Funan, you won’t have to worry about the weather ruining your plans. Do note that before taking on the rock-climbing wall, all first-timers to Climb Central will need to undergo a compulsory safety briefing. Each time slot is for a maximum of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

8. Stretch your sore muscles in a yoga class

Working from home from 9-6 has got most of us dealing with tense muscles and overall lethargy. Relieve the built-up tension in your body and find your zen over a yoga session at Hom Yoga
