“Cherry Blossom” Spots In Singapore

1. Japanese Cemetery Park

The Japanese Cemetery Park is well-known for being the largest and well-preserved Japanese cemetery in Southeast Asia. It also houses a gorgeous floral arch, adorned with pink trumpet flowers.

It stretches from one end to the other side of the park any duo walking down the aesthetically-pleasing path will feel like a royal couple. While snapping some pictures, you can also learn more about the history of the park at their mini prayer hall.

2. East Coast Park


East Coast Park is famous for its vast spaces and is considered the hub for sporty activities. Tucked away at this beachside spot is a bougainvillea garden which has many pink trumpet shrubs surrounding the area.

Not only can you take selfies in their flowering garden, you can also enjoy the beautiful view of the sea from their three-storey tower. After your mini photoshoot, consider taking bae on a cycling date.

Ulu Pandan Park Connector is popular for its flowering trees along the stretch, giving that same rustic charm similar to the streets of Kyoto. Other than getting some aesthetic photos for the gram, this place is perfect for activities like running and rollerblading.

Or if you prefer to wind down after a hectic week, you can also engage in animal spotting with your loved one – you might just catch the infamous otters by the longkangs!

4. Robertson Quay


If you’re planning a date in the central area, Robertson Quay has everything you need. As you walk down the charming path, you will find yourself surrounded by pink trumpet petals and flowering trees which gives a romantic atmosphere.   

Other than its scenic location, the quaint tourist attraction is surrounded with fine dining restaurants and bars. You can take an evening stroll and have a romantic dinner before heading for drinks ― a three-in-one package.

5. Bishan-AMK Park


Hailed as one of the biggest urban parks in central Singapore, Bishan-AMK Park is known for its vast spaces for Singaporeans to carry out their daily activities. You can also walk down the stone steps and snap multiple pictures in various angles. This scenic spot is located 15 minutes away from the Telok Blangah MRT station.

7. Gardens By The Bay


Gardens By The Bay may have an impressive array of pretty flowers in the Flower Dome but if you are on a budget, you can take advantage of the rosy trumpet trees near the Planet sculpture aka the “floating baby” and along the Waterfront Plaza.

You can catch these blooming flowers during the months of March to April or August to September. Sometimes, good things do come for free.

8. Jurong Lake Gardens


Jurong Lake Gardens, one of the largest nature parks in the heartlands, has vibrant trumpet flowers scattered across the park so you can take multiple pictures around the park.
