Mighty Jaxx’s Kandy x Chocolate Sanrio Collection
Earlier last year, collectible brand Mighty Jaxx launched a Kandy x Sanrio collection featuring its signature half-dissected designs. In line with Valentine’s Day 2023, Mighty Jaxx now has a second edition inspired by chocolate so you can treat your bae to a unique gift.
There are seven figurines in total, each encapsulated in a blind box. As quoted by Forrest Gump, “life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.”
The collection
Similar to the first collection, each Sanrio figurine is split into half. One side features a chocolate-themed design, while the other is a see-through transparent version of the characters that reminds us of candy.
Apart from Hello Kitty, the collection also includes My Melody, Kuromi and Cinnamoroll. They appear to be standing in a puddle of chocolate, alongside a chocolate truffle that is also split into half to showcase its delicious gooey centre.
The chocolate truffles feature different flavours that are unique to each character’s signature colour. These range from dark pink raspberry to sweet yellow caramel.
According to Mighty Jaxx, My Melody is the rarest out of the seven designs. This means that My Melody fans might have to splurge a little more to ensure a higher probability of getting your hands on this pink bunny.
Pompompurin, Badtz-Maru and Keroppi designs are also up for grabs. The Badtz-Maru design adorably showcases the penguin character as a yummy chocolate treat, complete with icing on its belly.
The figurines are 4 inches high, perfect for adding to your existing PopMart collection to show off to your friends.

Since Valentine’s Day is always associated with flowers and chocolate, it’s safe to say that the Mighty Jaxx Kandy x Sanrio chocolate collection looks almost good enough to eat. Each blind box retails at USD$12.99 (~SGD$17.25) and they are now available on Mighty Jaxx’s website and in leading participating retail outlets in Singapore such as ActionCity, TANGS, Takashimaya, Isetan, Popular and TImes.
