Migrant Workers International Women’s Day
As one of Singapore’s attractions, Sentosa is accessible in a few ways ‒ from walking to taking public transport and riding the cable car. While many of us have had the experience of heading over sitting inside a cable car, not everyone has had the privilege to do so.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Trip.com and Mount Faber Leisure Group are partnering up to treat female migrant workers in Singapore to free cable car rides. From now to 30 April 2022, you can also contribute to the campaign by donating cable car ride tickets. Read on to find out how you can do so.
Donating cable car rides
There’s no denying that migrant and domestic workers in Singapore are the unsung heroes of the nation, as they play a huge role in supporting Singaporean families.
As a way to show appreciation for their hard work, Trip.com and Mount Faber Leisure Group have donated 200 Cable Car Sky Pass (Round Trip) tickets to the Humanitarian Organisation for Migration Economics (HOME).

For the unacquainted, HOME is an organisation dedicated to the welfare, empowerment, and advocacy of migrant workers. The partnership is also a continuation of Trip.com’s Pay It Forward Campaign, which aims at providing meaningful experiences for the less privileged.
Thanks to this initiative, female migrant workers will get to enjoy their rest days by witnessing the panoramic views onboard the cable car rides.
View from the cable car ride
The breathtaking views of Mount Faber Peak, Harbourfront, and Sentosa will provide an unforgettable experience, as expenses to these attractions tend to be considered a luxury to many of them.
From now to 30 April 2022, you can also contribute to the good cause by donating Cable Car Sky Pass (Round Trip) at $24.50 per ticket here. The tickets secured at the end of the campaign will be distributed to migrant workers in Singapore by HOME, and valid for their use from 1 May 2022 to 31 October 2022.
