When it comes to celebrating Pride Month in Singapore, many of us would only think of attending the annual Pink Dot celebration at Hong Lim Park. But beyond wearing pink tees to be united as one and watching the performances, it turns out that the month of June is actually packed with other fun-filled activities to celebrate love.

Pink Screen is an annual film festival that features films representing the LGBTQIA+ community. This year, they are putting the spotlight on four different titles — Bugis Street (1995), Drive Away Dolls (2024), Love is Strange (2014), and Peafowl (2023).
FYI, these films are widely acclaimed by professionals in the industry. In particular, Love is Strange won the Best Grownup Love Story at the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards and Peafowl received an award at the Busan Film Festival.

Featuring a lineup of clothes and accessories made by local designers, Fashion For All seeks to celebrate people of all ages, body types, ethnicities, gender identities, and sexualities. You can expect to see clothes from brands like Kanzi, Serina Lee, Boheme, and Binary Style.

Baby Queen is the first drag queen film in Singapore. It showcases drag culture in our Little Red Dot and tackles some hard hitting topics like family acceptance and being comfortable in your skin — a heartwarming watch and a great step for Singapore’s LGBTQ+ scene.

LGBTQ+ pawrents, here’s an event for you. At Pawrents Meet-Up, you can mingle with members of the queer community and introduce your fur babies to each other. The event will start off with an ice-breaker, followed by brunch at Plain Meredith, a pet-friendly cafe.
