IU Estée Lauder Ambassador

April is just about to get better for fans of K-pop singer IU, who is performing in Singapore later this month ‒ she has just been unveiled as Estée Lauder’s first Korean global brand ambassador. Read on to find out more about how the acclaimed singer feels about this partnership.

Estée Lauder Ambassador

IU is no stranger to K-pop and K-drama fans ‒ you might recognise her from popular dramas like Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and Hotel Del Luna. The 30-year-old artiste has also garnered attention for her diverse musical ventures, releasing albums spanning various genres including pop, R&B, and ballad.

Most recently, she embarked on her IU H.E.R. World Tour in early March 2024, featuring special guests like K-pop girl groups NewJeans and Le Sserafim.

IU’s addition to the Estée Lauder family marks a significant moment for many, since she is the first Korean to be announced as a global brand ambassador. She joins other international celebrities on the roster of Estée Lauder’s global brand ambassadors, including Ana de Armas, Amanda Gorman, and Yang Mi.

Alongside the announcement of her partnership with Estée Lauder, IU debuted in her first campaign for the brand, featuring their hero products: Advanced Night Repair and Double Wear. Beauty aficionados will probably recognise these as Estée Lauder’s must-have items for anti-ageing and flawless skin.

Additionally, IU expressed her excitement about joining the luxury skincare brand. The singer shared that she feels truly honoured to be part of Estée Lauder, especially considering its iconic status and widespread popularity among women worldwide, as well as how it was founded by an inspirational female leader.

With that being said, here’s hoping that Estée Lauder will release more campaigns featuring IU in the near future.

IU Is Estée Lauder’s Newest Global Brand Ambassador

Thanks to this exciting announcement, fans of IU can now look forward to future campaigns and events by Estée Lauder that feature the popular singer. Given that it is common for many luxury beauty brands to invite their ambassadors to our Little Red Dot, who knows if IU will be adding any Estée Lauder appearances when she’s here on her Singapore tour?
