Concerts In Singapore 2023

Ever since the relaxation of travelling restrictions here, we’ve had an influx of different artists and singers announcing their concerts in Singapore. I myself was in a massive dilemma over what category to buy for Blackpink recently.

Already lined up with gigs back to back, 2023 will undoubtedly be an even greater time for music-lovers. With several female artists making their way to our shores next year, check out what you should start saving up for.

1. ITZY – 28 Jan 2023

MIDZYs, put your best sneakers on and run to see the five girls of Korean pop group, ITZY, perform at the Star Theatre in January 2023.

As this is their very first world tour, the group have chosen the title “Checkmate” for their tour, which is also the name of their album. Fans can expect to see the girls in a more mature light, which I absolutely love. Chock-full with stunning visuals and powerful performances, this girl group is set to kick off 2023 on a high note.

Date: 28 January 2023, Saturday
Time: 6pm
Venue: The Star Theatre at Star Vista, 1 Vista Exchange Green, #04-01, Singapore 138617

2. Kehlani – 6 Feb 2023

Be soothed by the angelic voice of Kehlani at her February 2023 concert. Held at Capitol Theatre, her vibe definitely suits the intimate setting of the hall.

Blue Water Road, Kehlani’s latest album, will take a front seat at her concert. You’ll hear melodious tunes sung from the album, such as “tangerine” and “everything”. The R&B soloist has aptly added the word “trip” to the album title for the tour name, making it seem like a never ending journey of blue skies and peaceful days that fans can expect.

Time: 8pm
Venue: Capitol Theatre, 17 Stamford Rd, Singapore 178907

3. Mamamoo – 9 Feb 2023

I said, mama, mama, moo… that’s right, iconic K-Pop girl group Mamamoo is coming to town. As we slowly roll into 2023, we’ll be blessed with the presence of the 4-piece girl group who brought us hits like “Starry Night” and “AYA”.

Their confident stage presence, the girl crush concept, and their amazing vocals are what give Mamamoo the show-stopping factor of their performances.

Moomoos, if you missed them back in 2019, make sure to grab yourself a ticket and let them wow you next year.

Date: 8 & 9 February 2023, Wednesday and Thursday

If you’re an indie music stan, you should know of Phoebe Bridgers. Heads up – the 28-year-old singer is performing on our sunny island next February.

Here for her Reunion Tour, the singer will be rocking out at the Esplanade Theatre, with bangers like “Motion Sickness” and “Punisher”. It’s only fitting that her tour poster displays her “on fire”, since that’s what she’ll be live.

February seems to be a popular month for concerts – another one to add to the mix is Norwegian singer-songwriter, AURORA, marking her return in 2023.

You might recognise her from her Frozen soundtrack single “Into The Unknown” or her other hauntingly beautiful tracks like “Cure For Me” and “Exist For Love” – the latter of which is part of her The Gods We Can Touch album, which is also the name for her upcoming Asia tour.

Date: 27 February 2023, Monday
Time: 8pm
Venue: The Theatre at Mediacorp, One-North Ave, The Shugart
Ticket Pricing: From $118 to $138, excluding booking fee

Live Nation member presale starts on 29 November 2022, 10am to 11.59pm Thereafter, book from Ticketmaster here.

6. BLACKPINK – 13 May 2023

There is no introduction needed for this female K-Pop group. Blackpink is back and ready to slay next year at the National Stadium.

The group already caused a frenzy with their 4-day long pre-sale that happened from 21 November to 24 November 2022 for their first show. Although concert-goers will have to wait quite a while as the concert will be happening in May 2023, it’ll all be worth it.

The Born Pink world tour will showcase powerful performances from Jisoo, Jennie, Rośe, and Lisa, with songs from their new album Born Pink, which features “Shut Down” and “Typa Girl”. My personal favourite has to be “The Happiest Girl” – and I’ll definitely be one when they’re in Singapore performing IRL.

Date: 13 May & 14 May 2023, Saturday and Sunday
Time: 13 May (7.30pm), 14 May (TBC)
Venue: Singapore National Stadium, 1 Stadium Dr, Singapore 397629
Ticket Pricing: From $168 to $398, excluding booking fee
*Do note that tickets for 13 May 2023 are currently sold out.

7. Maisie Peters – 20 March 2023

When it comes to powerful women in the industry, we can’t help but think of British singer-songwriter Maisie Peters. This coming March, we’ll get to experience her live at the Capitol Theatre, with this upcoming show being her first one on our shores.

Suitably taglined “Maisie Takes Singapore!” in her concert poster, we already know this queen is going to be bringing the house down with her pop hits such as “Psycho” and “You Signed Up For This”.

Date: 20 March 2023, Monday
Time: TBC
Venue: Capitol Theatre, 17 Stamford Rd, Singapore 178907
