With second generation K-pop groups FT Island and SHINee’s return to Singapore earlier this year, many fans have been anticipating more idols to come back with nostalgic performances too. 

It seems like the wait is now over, as following a seven-year hiatus, K-pop rock band CNBLUE will be arriving in Singapore to perform their classic hits “I’m a Loner”, “Intuition” and “ Can’t Stop”.

2. Lauv — 4 May 2024

American singer-songwriter Lauv will be performing at Sentosa to conclude Liv Golf Singapore, an event held at Sentosa Golf Club. To round up two days of festivities, Lauv will be treating fans to his viral tracks such as “The Other”, “I Like Me Better” and “i’m so tired…”. 5. Radwimps — 11 May 2024

Following the success of their world tour in 2023, Japanese rock band Radwimps is returning to Singapore this 2024 with a world tour titled, “The way you yawn, and the outcry of Peace”. Anime fans might recognise the band’s notable songs for record-breaking feature films, such as “Your Name”, “Weathering with You” and “Suzume”.

12. Alexander 23 — 14 June 2024

13. BabyMonster — 15 June 2024

After Blackpink’s debut, YG’s next rising girl group, BabyMonster, released their very first music video “Batter Up” in 2023. The song has since gained over 230 million views on YouTube, proving the girls’ successful breakthrough into the K-pop scene.

It seems like this year is Mamamoo’s year, as the members have each embarked on their solo concerts, with Hwasa being the third member to do so. Titled “Twits”, the upcoming fancon tour is named after her fandom, as well as inspired by her solo debut song “Twit”.

If you’re a frequent TikTok user, you may have come across these four enthusiastic girls that make up the J-pop group Atarashii Gakko! — they’ve even collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion, when the American rapper visited Japan earlier in March 2024.

Only females aged 19 and above will be permitted to attend the show, which features a team of half-naked hunks doing strip teases, flexing their muscles and dancing to choreographies on the pole and rope.

23. Waterbomb Singapore — 24 to 25 August 2024

Known as South Korea’s most well-loved summer festival, Waterbomb is making its way to Singapore for the first time ever this year. Held at Sentosa, artists and attendees will be able to enjoy live performances while having water fights to beat the heat. 

Artists and audiences will also be divided into two teams: Orange and Blue. Pick a team colour upon entry and get ready for an epic water fight between the teams, with water guns available to purchase inside the venue.
