Temple Of Love Singapore

Apart from finding love through a vending machine in Japan, some Singaporeans might consider seeking via other conventional methods. If you believe in tradition, this famous Temple Of Love might just be the answer to all your dating woes.

Lemon8 user, Jean, shared her experience on her visits to Yueh Hai Ching Temple and how she prayed to the matchmaking god in the hopes of finding her one true love.

Yueh Hai Ching Temple aka Singapore’s Temple Of Love is very well-known for its success rates in matchmaking. Hopeful singles and romantics can pray to a statue of Yue Lao, known as the god of love and marriage. NGL, with its rumoured success rate, I would consider going down myself.

In fact, Jean dropped by the famous temple three times within a year so she could pray to the iconic statue. Now that’s what I call dedication.

According to the Lemon8 user, you can pray directly to the statue of Yue Lao by listing out your ideal qualities in a partner.

Alternatively, you can opt to pay $12 for a red string which will give you a higher chance of finding your other half. Tie it to the statue’s neck and hopefully, your dream person will appear in your life to sweep you off your feet.

While she has yet to find her Mr. Right, she adds that Yue Lao has matched a lot of couples including a pair that she interviewed for her journalism project.
