Love, Bonito Activewear Cheak
After holding their outdoor concert earlier in September, local fashion brand Love, Bonito is back with another piece of good news ‒ they are launching an activewear brand named cheak, that is made to suit every Asian woman.
No longer just a fashion brand that offers your everyday clothes, Love, Bonito shows just how they are expanding into supporting every aspect of a woman’s lifestyle with their new launch.

ICYMI, cheak didn’t appear out of the blue ‒ the brand was put together after Love, Bonito acquired Singapore-based activewear brand butter. this October.
To commemorate the milestone, cheak was chosen to represent the vibrant, fun energy of both brands alongside playing on the word “cheeky”, which suggests how girls always know how to have a lil’ fun.
As both brands share the same motivation to empower Asian women and foster a strong female community through their apparel, it is no wonder that they are a natural fit together.
The collection
What’s so amazing about cheak is that the brand has designs with the intention to include women of all sizes and suit various sports activities in different climates. You get to choose from 12 styles, and 7 inclusive sizes that run from XXS to XXL.
Plus, they have 13 colours in total, with 8 of them available on Love, Bonito. This means you get to colour-coordinate with your workout pals for a fun sesh together.

That’s not all ‒ their activewear apparels are available in two fabrics BaseCore and BaseFlex, suitable for workouts of different intensities.
The BaseCore series is excellent for high-intensity activities like HIIT, spinning, and running. Thanks to their sweat-wicking and compressive properties, BaseCore allows you to stay cool and dry after a workout. On top of that, they even help to improve blood circulation, enhance performance and boost recovery.

One of their best-selling designs is the V Bra which features thick straps that provide maximum support and unrestricted arm movements. It matches best with their Classic Leggings which come with an elastic waistband that doesn’t slide down when doing extensive movements.

On the other hand, BaseFlex suits low-intensity exercises like yoga and pilates and focuses on softer and more feminine aesthetics. The fabric is smooth to the touch and provides low to mid-compression and support.
