When it comes to celebrating Pride Month in Singapore, many of us would only think of attending the annual Pink Dot celebration at Hong Lim Park. Pink Screen is an annual film festival that features films representing the LGBTQIA+ community. This year, they are putting the spotlight on four different titles — Bugis Street (1995), Drive Away Dolls (2024), Love is Strange (2014), and Peafowl (2023).
FYI, these films are widely acclaimed by professionals in the industry. In particular, Love is Strange won the Best Grownup Love Story at the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards and Peafowl received an award at the Busan Film Festival.

2. Fashion For All – Now to 30 June 2024
If you’re interested in fashion, consider heading to Design Orchard to check out Singapore’s first inclusive showcase. Featuring a lineup of clothes and accessories made by local designers, Fashion For All seeks to celebrate people of all ages, body types, ethnicities, gender identities, and sexualities. You can expect to see clothes from brands like Kanzi, Serina Lee, Boheme, and Binary Style.

3. Baby Queens & Kings – 6 to 28 June 2024
Baby Queen is the first drag queen film in Singapore. It showcases drag culture in our Little Red Dot and tackles some hard hitting topics like family acceptance and being comfortable in your skin — a heartwarming watch and a great step for Singapore’s LGBTQ+ scene.
At Baby Queen & Kings, you’ll be able to watch the film and a live drag show after. Every Thursday and Friday, different lineups of drag queens will wow you with their energetic and passionate performances.

4. The Brunch Club: Pride Edition – 8 June 2024
At The Brunch Club: Pride Edition, you’ll be able to satiate your hunger for food and entertainment in a LGBTQ+-friendly environment. Not only does the event provide diverse food options and free-flow alcoholic beverages for guests, but it also features performances by beloved drag queen Honey Gluttony — who represented Singapore in RuPaul’s Drag Race: WERQ The World 2023.

5. Blaze: Pole Pride – 8 June 2024
Pole dancing may seem like an intimidating sport at first glance, but there’s no shame in giving it a shot.
For those who are curious to try out the sport, RainbowAsia — a Singaporean non-profit organisation that aims to build a safe and inclusive queer community — is offering exclusive trial classes as part of their Pink Dot celebrations.
No prerequisites are required and the trial is open to absolute beginners, so feel free to grab your BFFs for a spinning good time.

6. Pasar Pink – 9 June 2024
This year’s Pasar Pink pop-up will be held at a very pink and picturesque venue, aka the iconic Museum of Ice Cream.

7. Pawrent Meet-Up: Bring Your Bitch – 9 June 2024
LGBTQ+ pawrents, here’s an event for you. At Pawrents Meet-Up, you can mingle with members of the queer community and introduce your fur babies to each other. The event will start off with an ice-breaker, followed by brunch at Plain Meredith, a pet-friendly cafe.
P.S. This event is open-to-all, meaning that anyone — regardless of whether they have a pet — is welcome to attend. Allies can bring their pets to socialise and play with other furry friends too.

8. Trans:Mission – 12 to 16 June 2024
The topic of being transgender is rarely discussed in Singapore, which makes Trans:Mission even more meaningful.
As the first play in Singapore that is fully written and performed by trans people, Trans:Mission seeks to educate people about what it is like to grow up as trans in our Lion City. It sheds light on the transgender community and depicts the struggle of creating a community in a society sometimes does not accept those labelled as “different”.

9. The Pink Fest Run 2024 – 15 June 2024
Singapore Frontrunners is holding their 6th annual Pink Fest Run, welcoming any individual interested in running regardless of ability, gender or sexual orientation.
For those who are interested, two route options are available: 4km and 8km. The event is completely free, so all you have to do is show up and work up a sweat while surrounded by positive energy.

10. PINKY KIKI BALL: A RIOT OF COLOURS – 15 June 2024

11. Physical Q: Beach Fest – 22 June 2024

12. Queer Parenthood: The Gay Reality – 23 June 2024

15. Kinky Minky Getting Into Shibari Workshop – 29 June 2024
