Single’s Inferno Season 3 Cast Members Ranked
It seems like we’re kicking off the new year strong with the season finale of the well-loved Korean variety show, Single’s Inferno Season 3. While some couples found love and escaped to Paradise in the final episode, others were inevitably left behind in Inferno.
And as the show finally comes to an end, many of us can’t help but wonder: Who exactly is the most dateable cast member? With all the buzz going around among fans, it’s now the perfect conversation starter to bring up to your friends over lunch.
While everyone’s entitled to their own opinions, here’s our ranking of the worst to the best cast members to date, and what their best qualities are.

Male contestants
6. Yun Ha Bin, 30
Don’t be surprised as to why I ranked Yun Ha Bin last — let me remind you once again that this is a dateability ranking, and this man had little to almost zero game on the show. Was he a NPC?
I barely saw him trying to talk to any of the girls, and even when he finally got his chance to go to Paradise with Ha Jeong, it was disappointing. With how much time he spent staring off into space seemingly thinking hard, perhaps he should’ve been casted for The Devil’s Plan instead.

5. Lee Gwan Hee, 35
The red flags for Gwan Hee are endless — I’m not exactly sure where I should start. His well-known traits of indecisiveness, guilt-tripping and immaturity are just a few off the top of my head. Perhaps the most infuriating part was the fact that he constantly made the girls who didn’t pick him feel bad about their choices.
I guess he had a mini redeeming arc at the end when he realised that he’s the problem and apologised to them all. But honestly speaking, it’s still not enough to make up for the hurt and confusion that he caused.

4. Son Won Ik, 30
NGL, Won Ik seems like a pretty decent guy who knows what he wants and goes for it — all of us, including the cast members, knew he was going all in with Si Eun.
But I had a major ick when he told Si Eun he hoped that her and Min Woo would never find the right timing to get to know each other better. What’s with the possessiveness? It’s just a dating show, and it shouldn’t be a crime for Si Eun to get to know other people as well.

3. Park Min Kyu, 33
Min Kyu is such a sincere and charming contestant, it’s almost hard to not fall in love with him. While he was open about his feelings for Gyu Ri, he also gave her space, and did not pressure her into making a decision.
But I was a little confused as to why he was playing wingman for everybody. There’s a time limit for the cast to spend with each other, so I would’ve preferred him to be more proactive with chasing Gyu Ri.

2. Choi Min Woo, 23
Min Woo may be the youngest contestant on the show, but his sweet and mature personality is what makes him a huge green flag (yes, Gwan Hee we’re looking right at you as we’re saying this). He was interested in both Gyu Ri and Si Eun, but made up his mind quickly so he wouldn’t lead both girls on.
We watched him painfully tell Gyu Ri that he was going to choose Si Eun instead of her — but he did what had to be done. Things only went up for him from there, as he visibly appeared happier when spending time with Si Eun.
Dateability: 4/5
1. Lee Jin Seok, 30
A man who’s funny, sincere and respectful to every female contestant? Sign me up to be his wife.
Jin Seok gave me the best impression right off the bat. In an earlier episode, he admitted that every female contestant is beautiful in their own way, but he just hasn’t found his personal ideal type yet. It was said in such a neutral and respectful manner, without putting anybody down.
Plus, I really admired the way Jin Seok handled rejection. When Min Young asked for space to explore other options, he didn’t get upset and was very understanding of where she came from.

Female contestants
6. Cho Min Ji, 25
Watching Min Ji sob over Gwan Hee after only knowing him for less than two days was too shocking for me to digest. During the helicopter scene, I felt that she was a little rude to both Hye Seon and Min Kyu. The couples were on separate dates, so she shouldn’t be using the chance to flirt with Gwan Hee in front of the others.
Did she fall in love with Gwan Hee too quickly or was she simply love bombing? Either way, we’re feeling bad for Min Kyu instead, whose shirt was pretty much used as a tissue paper to catch her tears throughout the ride.

5. Ahn Min Young, 25
I’m sure we can all agree that Min Young fumbled the bag with Jin Seok. While it was understandable that she wanted to get to know the other male contestants better, it was hypocritical of her to get upset when Jin Seok tried to do the same.
Her questions were too overbearing to watch. But at least she woke up towards the end, and got lucky that Jin Seok’s feelings for her remained throughout the show.
Dateability: 2/5
4. Kim Gyu Ri, 27
Gyu Ri is someone who knows what she wants and I respect that. But while it’s fine for her to not like fickle-minded guys, she went totally insane, harshly chewing Min Woo out for not picking her. I didn’t like the way she was speaking to him as if he was a dog — the scene was simply not it.
She ended up settling for Min Kyu even though she mentioned that he didn’t make her heart flutter — a decision that was both confusing and shocking at the same time.
Dateability: 2/5
3. Yoon Ha Jeong, 25
Watching Ha Jeong go awf on Gwan Hee for being rude to the girls was like a breath of fresh air. At the start, she seemed like the only contestant who could truly humble him, but I felt a little disappointed when she ended up apologising for it.
At the end of the day, she’s someone who knows her own worth and accepted her final rejection with grace.

2. Yu Si Eun, 26
While it was obvious that Si Eun couldn’t hide her expressions well, it ended up benefiting her as she was able to open up about her feelings to Min Woo. Despite always missing the right time to get to know him properly, she treasured every moment and made it count.
She got the ending she truly deserved, and an iconic one too — her and Min Woo were the only couple who escaped Inferno without experiencing Paradise together.
Dateability: 4/5
1. Choi Hye Seon, 25
Hye Seon’s bright and bubbly personality is what makes her so likeable, and she was obviously confident in herself and her decisions. I was so proud of her when she told Gwan Hee to just pick Min Ji at the end, because she didn’t want to constantly be compared to her and compete for his attention all the time.
Hye Seon isn’t someone who just says things to make Gwan Hee happy, and instead is open and honest about her feelings. I’m glad she was picked in the end, as she’s definitely the only one who had a positive impact on Gwan Hee.
